Physician Academic Group is an organization launched in 2007 by a group of Mercy Hospital physicians with the intention of creating a lecture series that covers diverse academic subjects. From History to Philosophy, from Sociology to Archeology and from Art to Religious Studies, it is our intention to engage a wide spectrum of academic topics, which will advance our quest for knowledge. We are guided by the precept that exposure to different areas of knowledge fosters self-reflection and self-knowledge, a foundation for personal growth.
